Servicing and Repairs Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before engaging the services of Mowerfix Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.
1. Services Provided
- Diagnosis, repair, and servicing of lawnmowers and garden machinery
- Collection and delivery (where agreed)
- Blade sharpening and safety checks
- Advice and support on care and usage
2. Estimates & Charges
- Initial estimates are free unless otherwise stated.
- All estimates are subject to change based on further inspection.
- If, during repair, additional work is found to be required, we will contact you for authorisation before proceeding.
- All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the prevailing rate.
3. Payments
- Payment must be made in full before the release or delivery of equipment.
- We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or card.
- Equipment left unpaid for more than 30 days after notification of completion may be subject to storage charges or disposal.
4. Turnaround Times
- We aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, but turnaround times may vary depending on parts availability and workload.
- We are not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers or courier services.
5. Customer Responsibility
- Customers must provide accurate information about equipment faults.
- Equipment must be collected within 14 days of completion unless agreed otherwise.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your equipment is properly maintained following servicing.
6. Uncollected Equipment
- Any equipment not collected within 60 days may be considered abandoned.
- We reserve the right to dispose of abandoned equipment to recover storage or repair costs, after reasonable notice is given.
7. Guarantees
- Repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of collection, covering the work carried out only.
- This guarantee does not cover:
- Misuse or user error
- Wear and tear
- Faults unrelated to the original repair
8. Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, equipment failure, or improper use after servicing.
- While we take care with all equipment, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear.
- Customers should ensure that any valuable data or personal property is removed from machinery prior to servicing.
9. Collection & Delivery (If Offered)
- Collection and delivery services are provided within agreed local areas and are subject to availability.
- A fee may apply. Time windows are estimates and subject to change.
10. Health & Safety
- We reserve the right to refuse to service machinery that poses a risk to our staff or premises.
- Customers must ensure machinery is clean and free from excessive debris or hazardous materials.
11. Privacy
- Customer details are kept secure and used only to process orders and communicate service updates.
- We do not share customer information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
12. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website or made available on request.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
