Returns & Refund Policy

Applies to: Purchases made via our website, in person, or over the phone
1. Overview
At MowerFix, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. We comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which provide different rights for customers purchasing new or pre-owned items.
2. Returning New Items
Faulty or Not as Described
If a new item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have the right to:
• A full refund if returned within 30 days of purchase.
• A repair or replacement if the fault develops after 30 days but within 6 months.
• If the item cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
Changed Your Mind?
If you purchased a new item online or by phone, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to cancel and return the item under your right to cancel, provided it is:
• Unused and in original packaging.
• Returned at your own cost, unless the item is faulty or misdescribed.
Note: This right does not apply to in-store purchases.
3. Returning Pre-Owned Items
Faulty or Not as Described
Under UK law, pre-owned items must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a pre-owned item is faulty or misrepresented, you are entitled to:
• A full refund if returned within 30 days of purchase.
• A repair, replacement, or partial refund if returned after 30 days and within a reasonable time (up to 6 months, depending on the issue). We assess each case individually and may offer a repair or partial refund based on usage and fair wear and tear.
Changed Your Mind?
We do not accept returns on pre-owned items if you’ve simply changed your mind, unless the purchase was made online or by phone, in which case the 14-day cancellation period still applies (see section 2).

Please include your proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation). We will confirm whether the item qualifies for a return and guide you through the next steps.
5. Refunds
Once your return is approved and received:
• Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
• Please allow up to 5–10 working days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank.
6. Exemptions
Returns and refunds may not be accepted if:
• The item was damaged due to misuse or neglect.
• The item is returned after the applicable return period.
• The item was sold as “sold as seen” in-store and clearly marked as such.
